The Sketchbook Project
Anyone from Anywhere could participate in the Sketchbook Project that will go on tour across the US finishing its journey at the Brooklyn Art Library where it will be available for the public to view.
I love to experiment with various media and imagery, mostly in an creative abstract fashion with bold forms, patterns and colour, painting whatever inspires me at the moment. I incorporate fabric, beads, buttons, found objects, wire and many objects from nature into mostly acrylic paintings. I paint until I believe I am completely finished, then I step back, return to the canvas and paint some more. Using elements that lend the correct colour and texture to my non-objected abstract pieces, I get results that excite my eye and make me feel good. After a few days I make up my mind if the work should be signed or turned to the left and worked some more. When enough is enough, I sign it and hang it.
