Triptych

Triptych: tri / three, ptyche / fold.

A painting made up of 3 parts or divided into 3 parts. In ancient times these 3 pieces were generally hinged together. In more current times the 3 pieces can be separate and hung side by side or even one on top of another.

  1. Colours are my favourite thing. I did these at the family cottage in the boathouse where no one cares if I get paint on the walls.
